Loved the songs (I'd never heard either one!). The Tim Minchin was smart and funny, the Brandi Carlile joyous. I looked up the lyrics and was a tiny bit worried (I can never make out the words clearly in songs) but they changed that line (and yay!). Now it's one of my new favorites. I am reminded of Joni Mitchell's "Circle Game" as this year and in this season it has felt like we are going "round and round". Thanks for the gentle nudge to remember all that is sweet and poignant of these times past and to see the sweetness in little ways this season.
