Simply awesome thoughts...Great job Jim...looking less old...ahem...Oh, by the way, Betsy... speaking of confusion... as was your elevator experience.. I bought a large liquid soap yesterday... I won't mention the name even though it's a high end quality manufacturer.... At the top it says dishwashing soap.... Midway down it says hand washing soap... Nothing worse than a vessel of soap that doesn't know what it is.....

"Less old..." Hahah! And, it sure sounds like that soap is having an identity crisis -- maybe some unresolved issues bubbling up. ;) Thanks for the comment, Barry.

I was going to add a comment here but am still speechless (wordless) over that impressive dude you’re married to! 😳

You're funny! :) He's very dedicated to his current process. I'm proud of him!

You could've been writing about some of my (and my husband's) confusing life moments !! For the daily business, I do prefer predictability , at work and at home. It helps me stay focused and organized with more mundane aspects of life. When I wish to engage my creative self, I give my all to gardening : my favorite lifelong learning skill !! 😍

Although, adding learning yoga (or even yoga -ish) sounds like a great benefit to any life

So many ways to make mistakes, so little time. Hah! Yoga is a wonderful addition to any daily routine, but you know I'm right there with you on the gardening. Thanks, Melody.

the Stalwarts were fine High Pointers, some of my favorites. And I'd like video, pretty please, of the handstand to straddle and back up. Totally impressed but somehow not surprised.

Big family, too. Pockets of them all over town! Can't make any promises on a video, but if I snag one I'll definitely share it. Appreciate the comment, Steph.

once again your real life humor- acknolwedging the humble energy that it takes to chucklet at ourselves without moving in to self-denegration- is so appreciated. Some days the 'daily grind' is what we can make it thru-other days somehow soak up the light of more youthful aspirations and we seem more able to enthusiastically go to new places. I will never stop wishing that the 'self' that i envision were a tad easier to manifest. I suppose that quest and a full bucket of love is the purpose of it all. (and yes, NEVER pass up the chance to extol the virtues of your partner and of course post handsome photos of him for the rest of us )

Totally agree, Kate. Some days the daily grind is plenty. In fact, if I ever dig back into an edit on this one, I'd like to include the fact that sometimes just getting through life's curve balls is all the "new learning" we can manage. Extolling virtues is a worthy pursuit. <3

I love this. Such a great reminder about so many aspects of our aging lives. He’s an inspiration!

I guess the take-home is that we can all do *something* to keep ourselves vibrant. Thanks for the comment, Amy!

Growing up in Detroit in the Motown era, I didn't learn until going to college that every city didn't have its own music. You and Jim are an inspiration. My latest challenge is cutting my worldly possessions in half without any of it going into landfill. I've made a game of it.

What an amazing thing to be able to misunderstand -- a city with its own music!! I love the mission you're currently on. That's a story unto itself. Thanks for reading and commenting, Sherry. Hope all is well!

1. I remember going to Ocean City for senior week and one of the girls thought dish soap was perfectly acceptable for the dishwasher. Hilarious hour-ish of clean up. 2. Getting back to handstand's up the wall, have been on my mind a LOT lately. Now I must do!! Thanks for the inspiration Mr Yoga ish and as always, Thanks Elizabeth :)

If you know, you know, right? Hahah!

We will look for quarterly handstand progress reports. We believe in you! Thanks, Barbara <3
